BLACK HISTORY MONTH And lots more...
It’s your girl Key, and it’s Black History Month. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the people who supported me at the UK Black Business Show. I was an exhibitor talking about narcissism, promoting the work that I do and I was overwhelmed by the sharing and curiosities that people have about their relationships with unnecessarily difficult people.
People were curious why I was so niche and how I got to do what I do. And I was very clear, it’s my own story, my own experience and my own struggles that inspired me to specialise in helping people to navigate dealing with narcissists. It’s exactly why I’ve created the program, Navigate Narcissism Now.
So, for Black History Month, I’m going to be supporting Brent Council. I have been featured in The Mirror where I am talking about culturally competent psychotherapists to help people navigate through the circumstances that they find themselves in.
It is not always easy. Self-help reading and watching YouTube videos will only take you so far, and whilst yoga and meditation have their place, again, there’s only so far you can go by yourself.
We need community, we need relationships, and that’s exactly what I provide for people in Navigate Narcissism Now. If that is of interest to you, click the link because it’s time for us to come together to realise that we are not alone in our struggles.
So many of us are battling and struggling out there. In addition, be careful of confusing narcissism with autism. Autism is a very different process. That’s about neurodiversity. And sometimes people make the assumption because someone is emotionally unavailable to us, they must be narcissistic. And that is not always the case.
If that makes sense, and you’re curious and need a conversation, click the link and let’s talk – I’m available for consultations.
Again, I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support. I’ve seen people at the UK Black Business Show I haven’t seen in years who supported my business when it was a seed in my mind’s eye.
Thank you. The love and encouragement have been exceptional and inspire me to keep on helping you navigate difficult relationships so they don’t draw you down, mash you up and take over your precious life.
Do take care of yourself because if you don’t, who will?
