I know what it’s like to feel trapped in a toxic relationship. The constant self-doubt, the fear of setting boundaries, the exhausting mental loops of trying to “fix” things—I’ve been there. But breaking free is only the beginning. Healing isn’t just about escaping abuse—it’s about discovering who you truly are.
I’m Keeley Taverner, a psychotherapist, coach, and survivor. My personal experience of overcoming narcissistic abuse fuels my passion for helping others do the same. But I don’t just help you leave toxic relationships – I guide you toward the life, confidence, and self-worth you deserve.
Beyond narcissistic abuse is a place for your potential and authentic self to emerge. My work goes beyond survival. It’s about stepping into a life where you no longer second-guess yourself, shrink to please others, or feel trapped by old patterns. It’s about building a future where you lead with confidence, purpose, and self-trust.

Raised by a single mother on a West London council estate, I grew up in a world where survival came before self-discovery. By my early twenties, I was a mother of two, working as a cashier at IKEA while trapped in an abusive relationship with a narcissistic partner. Like so many of my clients today, I was searching for answers, devouring self-help books and online articles—desperate to understand why I felt so powerless.
But no amount of research changed my reality. I needed action, not just awareness.
With no formal qualifications and little self-belief, I made a pivotal decision: to break the destructive cycles that kept me small. That decision led me on a transformational journey:
From an overlooked woman in an abusive relationship to a highly sought-after psychotherapist and coach, I proved that transformation is possible.
Today, I work with people across the world, helping them break free from toxic relationships and step into their full potential.
I now share my expertise regularly as a guest “on the couch” psychotherapist with Denise Van Outen and as a trusted mental health expert on BBC radio, HuffPost, The Mirror, Metro, and Newsweek.
Keeley’s understanding of narcissism goes beyond theory—she has spent over 20 years working directly with individuals caught in toxic relationship patterns.
